with Terry Owen
Skill Level: Experienced Beginner
Choose your favorite top or dress pattern from a selection available at Silk Road Textiles, and enjoy Terry's help and guidance in sewing your garment. Students will learn to read, fit, and sew a simple pattern. Perfect for the maker who wants to up their game and expand their repertoire! Students should have completed at least two projects requiring following a pattern prior to taking this class.
This class is for students who have not previously taken You CAN Sew Clothes at Silk Road Textiles. If you are not a first-timer, look for the You CAN Sew Clothes Follow Up class.
All supplies, especially the fabric and pattern, must be purchased from Silk Road Textiles. Choose your pattern from the options listed here. You will need to come to the store before your first day of class to choose your fabric, because you will want to wash and dry your fabric at home before cutting and sewing it in class.
